Job summary

GFT is seeking a Workday Techno-Functional Analyst to join our IT Services Team in a hybrid role across multiple offices, including Owings Mills, MD. The role partners with HR to ensure Workday processes meet business needs and deliver an excellent employee experience.

The candidate will configure Workday HCM modules, build reports, and support HR processes from hires through reorganizations, with a focus on data accuracy and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Workday HCM experience in a functional or technical-functional role.
• Hands-on experience configuring Core HCM Payroll and Benefits.
• Experience creating Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite preferred).
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Reporting.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM functionality and best practices.
• Support HR processes including hires, job changes, terminations, and reorganizations.
• Design, build, and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues with timely solutions.
• Partner with HR and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into scalable Workday solutions.
• Support testing for Workday updates and configurations.
• Maintain system documentation and process workflows.
• Assist with data audits, validations, and compliance activities.
• Participate in Workday biannual releases by reviewing features and implementing enhancements.
