Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a highly experienced Warranty Reliability Engineer to lead data analysis for customer issue resolution, field failure investigations, and warranty reduction initiatives in a global automotive supply setting. You will present region-wide warranty trends and drive reliability improvements across functions, mentoring engineers and guiding data-driven decisions.

The role requires 15+ years in automotive supplier quality or engineering, Six Sigma expertise, and strong Power BI/Excel

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in automotive supplier quality, reliability, warranty, or product engineering roles.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred with demonstrated leadership.
• Proven ability to use data analysis from warranty and validation to predict quality issues and guide decisions.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Power Query; macros experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of complex customer concerns, warranty claims, and field failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Generate and interpret monthly warranty trend and field report summaries across regions.
• Identify quality and reliability risks using PDP validation results with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and build problem-solving capabilities using Six Sigma, 8D, and related methodologies.
• Represent MAHLE in customer meetings, technical reviews, and audits with data-driven conclusions.
