Job summary

Emser Tile LLC in San Jose seeks a versatile Hybrid Warehouse and Customer Support Representative to balance in-store service with back-office tasks. You’ll greet customers, process orders in the JDE system, assist showroom staffing, and collaborate with the Branch Operations and Sales teams to meet branch goals.

The role requires 1–3 years in warehouse or design/build environments, strong math, database skills, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in building, construction, design or warehouse environments preferred.
• Results-driven, customer-focused, organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a team and thrive in a busy environment.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking and listening skills.
• Knowledge of database and query functions; basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; other language helpful for area.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for clients (Builders, Designers, General Contractors, walk-ins).
• Enter and verify orders in the JDE system and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Branch Operations and Sales teams to deliver excellent customer experience.
• Support showroom customers and walk-ins; assist ISR/Operations Manager as needed.
• Perform warehouse tasks: inspecting, labeling, stocking, picking, packing, shipping.
• Reconcile inventory and generate reports; address discrepancies.
