Job summary

ABB is seeking a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers, field techs, and internal teams. You will troubleshoot, program drives, configure parameters, and assist with system integration across low voltage VFDs and related power systems.

In this hybrid US role, you will collaborate with engineering, field service, and product teams while maintaining thorough case documentation in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years electrical/technical experience OR equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of VFD operation required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD applications.
• Assist with drive programming, configuration, and integration with control systems
• Collaborate with engineering, service, sales, and product teams to resolve issues
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations
• Maintain documentation in Salesforce Case Management and other tools
• Stay current with VFD technologies and industry trends
