Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in animal care.
• High school diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Inventory or purchasing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Educate and communicate with clients about medical procedures and next steps.
• Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians during pre-op, surgery, and post-op.
• Stock exam and treatment rooms; maintain sterile environments.
• Record patient history and update medical records in the information system.
• Dispense pharmaceuticals accurately as required and manage prescriptions.
