Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Design Manager (BRT) to lead the design of Bus Rapid Transit projects and oversee a diverse team of engineers. This hands-on role reports to the US Mid-Atlantic Region Transportation Business Line and offers a hybrid work model with in-office days.

You will guide planning studies, preliminary and final design, and contribute to business development while coordinating with design teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, preliminary and final design of BRT projects and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop construction cost estimates and PS&E package components.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and manage project budgets and schedules.
