Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Design Manager (BRT) to lead the design efforts for Bus Rapid Transit projects. The role involves directing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering studies and design packages on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, BRT/LRT experience, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment from the East Region. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Experience with Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or Light Rail Transit (LRT).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, preliminary and final design studies for BRT projects.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design teams and support business development.
• Develop construction cost estimates and participate in PS&E packages.
• Provide technical leadership, quality control and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure deliverables adhere to budget and schedule constraints.
