Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company is hiring a Telephone Representative in Canton, MA. The role handles customer service inquiries from policy owners and agents, troubleshoots issues, and processes changes and payments. Position supports on-site work with a hybrid model and offers opportunities for mentoring teammates.

You will work under limited supervision, participate in trainings, and collaborate across teams to deliver timely solutions while maintaining high accuracy and customer focus.

Formación

• Associates degree or related experience in Liberal Arts or Business.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage high volume and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Insurance knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Handle a variety of customer service inquiries and problems on the telephone from policy owners and agents.
• Review and troubleshoot customer problems and initiate action; may waive small amounts (under $25).
• Interact with other areas for resolution to problems.
• Handle written communications including policy research, payment and loan histories, and disputes.
• Handle changes, transactions, and payment adjustments.
• Participate in trainings and team meetings.
• Mentor and assist newer representatives on cases and policy questions.
• Perform other duties as required.
