Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our team and drive design documentation and BIM content creation using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. You will work closely with telecom leads and other discipline teams to deliver fully coordinated 3D models and construction drawings.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years Revit design experience and 2+ years in telecom systems design, with knowledge of codes/standards and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Revit design experience.
• 2+ years in telecommunications systems design and construction.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Engaged in design documentation and setup/management of Revit BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM content with discipline leads and team members.
• Produce fully coordinated 3D models across design disciplines and 2D construction drawings.
• Work under telecom discipline or project leads to meet Jacobs and client BIM standards.
• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to deliver clash‑free models.
