Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our telecom design team. You will contribute to design documentation, set up and manage Revit BIM models, and coordinate with discipline leads to produce constructible, clash-free 3D models and 2D drawings.

Working under telecom project leads, you’ll apply Jacobs' BIM standards, leverage Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to deliver integrated models across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L disciplines, while collaborating closely with clients and teammates

Qualifications

3+ years of Revit design experience.
2+ years of telecommunications systems design experience.
Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
Familiarity with client design and modeling standards.
Experience following Jacobs design standards and modeling practices.
Bluebeam markup software knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage design documentation for telecom projects.
Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads.
Create and coordinate 3D models across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L with Navisworks and AutoCAD.
Produce 2D construction drawings and ensure clash-free deliverables.
