Job summary

Shift4 is seeking a Technical Writer I to join the Knowledge Management team in a hybrid role spanning Center Valley, PA and Henderson, NV offices. You will create, review, and maintain technical and process documentation that improves learning and performance for employees, partners, and product end users.

You will collaborate across teams to fill content gaps, standardize formatting, and implement feedback to enhance user experiences.

Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of experience in technical writing, content development, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to organize information clearly and communicate complex topics in a user-friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, edit, and maintain technical and process documentation following Shift4’s guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to address content gaps and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Identify and address documentation gaps based on user feedback, support insights and stakeholder input.
• Produce documentation that is clear, concise, and tailored to the intended audience.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve documentation processes.
• Manage assigned tasks and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain consistent formatting, tagging, and structure across knowledge content.
