Job summary

Sterling Engineering, an award-winning, employee-owned recruiting firm, is seeking a Technical Recruiter to connect qualified candidates with engineering and manufacturing roles across the country.

You will partner with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to understand client hiring needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process, while maintaining strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Source and connect with candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, internal databases, and other recruiting tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with professionals across technical, engineering, and manufacturing industries.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, coordinating offers, and supporting candidates through the hiring process.
• Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, career goals, and overall fit for available opportunities.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries of their relevant experience and qualifications.
• Partner with divisional leadership, sales, and account management teams to develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Meet or exceed recruiting activity, performance, and placement goals.
