Job summary

RFA Engineering is seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to support growth of our engineering teams across the US. This hybrid role is based out of Eden Prairie, MN or Dubuque, IA, and involves sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top engineering and technical talent.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who builds relationships, understands technical roles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, working with hiring managers and engineers to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and screen engineering and technical candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical skill requirements, and team culture.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal databases.
• Develop and post job descriptions across recruiting platforms.
• Support recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and networking activities.
• Build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experience.
• Assist with recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams on workforce planning and staffing priorities.
