Job summary

National Exchange Bank & Trust is seeking a Talent Development Officer to lead the bank's talent and leadership development efforts, creating and delivering programs that strengthen individual and team capabilities. The role involves identifying training needs and shaping strategies through in-house learning and external partnerships.

The position is hybrid, collaborating with SVP/Human Resources and Senior Management to drive leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Leadership, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience including talent management and employee engagement.
• Experience with HRIS systems is required; ADP is preferred.
• Prior experience and/or exposure to benefits administration is preferred.
• CP (Certified Professional) or PHR certificate or related proficiency designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads talent and leadership development function in partnership with HR leadership by designing and/or conducting leadership and teambuilding materials.
• Analyzes training needs to design employee development strategies and partners with outside associations and colleges to develop individuals and teams.
• Administers Employee Engagement surveys and communicates results to the organization; advises managers on action planning.
• Assists with Succession Management planning and measurements of success.
• Assists with evaluation and administration of performance management systems and related training.
• Supports onboarding content review and enhancements; may present content as needed.
• Acts as LMS administrator backup and coordinates job shadow programs for career development.
• Coaches managers and employees on performance and behavior; advises on employee relations issues.
