Job summary

Smithbucklin in Chicago is seeking a Talent Development Coordinator to shape learning experiences that empower employees to grow, learn, and thrive. You will partner with the Talent Development Manager to implement development strategies and collaborate with HR to ensure alignment.

This role is hybrid, with in-office days Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and a 40-hour workweek. You will oversee LMS activities, onboarding programs, and certification tracking to support a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
• Experience working with an HR System.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Talent Development courses and events (in-person and virtual).
• Manage LMS scheduling and participant registration; run reports and create metrics.
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees during first 90 days and prep for first day in collaboration with HR Ops.
• Assist with Performance Management processes.
• Support the Certification Program by tracking and reporting awards.
• Serve as main point of contact for learning and development questions.
