Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Student Affairs Manager to independently manage all administrative aspects of undergraduate and graduate programs within the Department of Classics and the Department of Comparative Literature. You will work closely with DGS, DUS, Chairs, ADTM, SPS, and other offices to ensure compliant, smoothly run programs and robust student support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of related experience.
  • Experience coordinating higher education graduate programs preferred.
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with GSIM, Slate or similar platforms recommended.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative aspects of undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Assist with graduate student recruitment and orientation.
  • Track graduate and undergraduate student progress.
  • Serve as first point of contact for student inquiries.
  • Provide backup support for other staff when needed.
