Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2+ years of project design experience to join our growing team. This role can be based in the US and is eligible for office, home office, or hybrid work arrangements, with occasional travel for client meetings and site visits.

You will contribute to designs across sectors, work with a range of materials, and coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent structural engineering project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Working knowledge of USA National codes and standards (IBC/ACI/AISC).
• Experience with Revit software and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools.
• Perform technical work with senior review.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Assist with Construction Administration duties, including field observation reports and RFIs.
• Travel for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.
