Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2 or more years of project design experience to join our growing team. This role offers opportunities to work in a flexible environment and grow into senior technical or project leadership positions.

You will contribute to design solutions across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail sectors. Some travel within the United States may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of structural engineering project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training certification (EIT).
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.
• Working knowledge of USA National codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with Revit software.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools with the Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Perform technical work with senior review.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines, staff, clients, and subcontractors across the project life cycle.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assist with Construction Administration duties including field observation, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
• Travel for project-related activities as needed.
