Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2+ years of project design experience to join our growing team. You will tackle complex structural challenges and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail sectors.

In this role you will contribute to high‑quality design solutions, work with the Engineer of Record, develop calculations and contract documents, and engage in construction administration tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of recent relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training certification
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools
• Perform technical work with senior review
• Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors, throughout the project life cycle, and have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Assist with Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews.
• Traveling, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.
