Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ proven financial and/or business experience, or a combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ proven financial and/or business experience.
• Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, presentations and database tools.
• Experience writing RFPs and negotiating contracts; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with management to identify an Executive Sponsor and cross-functional project team for major sourcing initiatives.
• Guide the Project Team through the Strategic Sourcing process and keep leaders informed of progress.
• Lead kickoff, develop and execute RFPs/RFQs/RFIs based on business needs and market conditions.
• Facilitate evaluation of vendor proposals and coordinate bids, demonstrations and site visits.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms with Legal support.
• Document recommendations and savings impacts for senior management; align with risk and regulatory standards.
