Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to identify pricing opportunities, assess cost impacts, and implement strategies that improve price realization and profitability.

The role requires strong analytical skills, an advanced Excel toolkit, and the ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights. Travel up to 10% may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6+ years specifically in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or a closely relative field.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, methodologies, and best practices that drive profitable growth and margin improvement.
• Experience leveraging market dynamics and value-based pricing principles to develop pricing recommendations and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop pricing strategies that drive profitable growth.
• Lead pricing analyses related to price adjustments and new product launches with Finance and ISC.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to develop recommendations.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership in business reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for significant opportunities, national accounts, and PARs.
