Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through organic and inorganic strategies, including digital health and venture opportunities. The role intersects with senior management across Fresenius and requires travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; remote work may be possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with minimum 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years healthcare experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable with ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and regional heads to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to negotiation and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate projects and board approvals.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces (consultants, brokers, investment banks).
• Leverage market dynamics to support strategy discussions and future direction of the business.
