Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Specialist to coordinate commercial initiatives across brands and teams in a hybrid US-based role. You will maintain project plans, track deliverables and flag risks, while preparing updates and presentations for leaders.

collaborating with leadership and partners across the organization to ensure programs run smoothly and communications are clear. The role supports onboarding, training and events, and requires strong Microsoft 365 skills and PMO experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience in related fields.
• 3–5 years in commercial operations, project or program coordination, or PMO support.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with tight detail and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication for senior audiences; collaborative approach.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; strong judgment.
• Familiarity with PMO tools and reporting platforms like Smartsheet, Planner or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial initiatives across brands and teams; maintain plans, timelines, milestones, action items.
• Track deliverables, flag risks, dependencies or competing priorities to leadership.
• Prepare updates, presentations and reports to aid decision making.
• Coordinate team meetings, reviews and commercial calls with agendas and materials.
• Create communications, guides, presentations and training materials for teams.
• Manage communications programs like monthly brand calls and bulletins; handle logistics.
• Maintain shared calendars, milestones and hotel-facing initiatives.
• Keep reporting tools and dashboards current for participation and program performance.
• Maintain team docs and SharePoint resources; manage templates to simplify processes.
• Support onboarding, onsite training, and team/customer events.
