Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health seeks a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey to lead Staffing Coordinators and optimize nurse capacity and staffing performance. The hybrid role is based out of the office closest to your residence (Mount Laurel, Howell, or Saddle Brook), with regular travel among NJ offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience within the healthcare industry.
• Experience using data, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to travel between New Jersey offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization strategies.
• Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner closely with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to proactively address workforce supply and patient demand.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives that increase productivity, scalability, and service delivery performance.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
• Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices to improve overall operational effectiveness.
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage, responsiveness, and utilization.
• Support strategic initiatives related to growth, workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and operational excellence.
