Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial lending, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. This role emphasizes accurate underwriting and collaboration across teams to facilitate timely closings and sound risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial lending or related banking.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Knowledge of SBSS Scoring Model preferred.
• Ability to analyze loan applications and underwrite small business loans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements.
• Use bank systems for loan processing and loan proposals.
• Complete underwriting and communicate decisions within SLA.
• Collaborate with bank associates to facilitate loan closings.
• Manage pipeline of credits and prioritize credit requests.
