UMB Bank is seeking a Small Business Banking Underwriter in a hybrid role across Kansas City, MO; Dubuque, IA; and Denver, CO. You will analyze financial statements, perform cash flow, capital and collateral analysis, and make underwriting decisions within SLA benchmarks.

You will collaborate with bank associates to facilitate loan closings, manage a credits pipeline, and stay current on lending policies. A background in commercial lending and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial lending or related banking.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal & relationship building skills.
• Strong understanding & knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, & marketing practices.
• Knowledge of SBSS Scoring Model preferred.
• Ability to analyze and review loan applications to provide profitable results in the underwriting of small business loans and related credit products.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze financial statements
