Job summary

Makino is seeking a Service Parts Specialist in a hybrid role. You will respond to customer inquiries via phone and email for service parts, prepare quotes, and generate sale orders while researching BOMs and technical drawings to identify the correct parts.

You will collaborate with Parts and Service teams and coordinate with Material Control, Shipping, and customers to meet parts requirements, handling multiple requests concurrently and maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of bills of materials (BOM).
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Flexible in work hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email for service parts.
• Develop sales quotes and create sale orders for service parts.
• Research BOMs, drawings and technical information to identify correct parts.
• Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to resolve customer issues.
• Coordinate with Material Control, Shipping and customers to meet part requirements.
• Manage multiple customer requirements simultaneously.
