Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Parts Associate for a leading manufacturer of specialized industrial equipment in New Jersey. You will support customers and internal teams throughout the parts ordering process, emphasizing problem-solving and collaboration with technical products.

You will handle inquiries, quotes, and orders, work with SAP, and may transition to a hybrid schedule after training; a strong customer service background and comfort with cross-department coordination are

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, parts sales, or related roles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work across multiple departments.
• Onsite work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts requests from inquiry through shipment.
• Identify correct replacement parts using records, serials, BOMs, manuals and drawings.
• Prepare quotations, verify pricing and availability, and enter orders into SAP.
• Follow up with customers on quotes, orders, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, warehouse, finance, and suppliers.
• Resolve discrepancies, returns, backorders, and urgent parts requests.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
• Develop knowledge of equipment, configurations, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Proactively communicate order updates and delivery status.
