Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Houston, TX seeks a Service Coordinator to schedule field service installations, coordinate parts, and provide regular updates to the Service Manager and customers.

You\'ll open and maintain service orders in SAP, secure purchase orders, track paperwork, and keep customer contacts current while ensuring timely communication and smooth operation. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant service coordination and/or dispatch experience.
• High School diploma; some college preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure purchase orders for service work and verify terms and conditions with customers.
• Open, maintain and edit scheduled service orders in SAP and other systems including invoicing.
• Track and file paperwork for service jobs entered; expedite parts as needed; create Vendor Purchase Orders when required.
• Maintain and verify contact information for customer accounts; update customers on order progress and long lead times on a case-by-case basis.
• Coordinate service scheduling and maximize Technician utilization; serve as liaison between Service Manager, Technicians and customers.
