Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect/Developer to lead modernization efforts across the enterprise ServiceNow platform. You will design and implement ITSM modules, workflows, and automation while guiding technical standards and governance.

The role requires hands-on development, deep ITSM/ITOM experience, and proven leadership across cross‑functional teams. Hybrid work and a long-term project scope are offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in information systems or related field.
Five years of experience in the information systems field with process design, development and implementation.
Hands-on ServiceNow configuration, development, and integration experience.

Responsibilities

Lead technical authority for ServiceNow architecture, design, and deployment.
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITSM modules, workflows, and automation.
Architect scalable platform solutions using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
Oversee platform lifecycle: upgrades, performance tuning, and release management.
Provide knowledge transfer and lead QA cycles during deployments.
