Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior Proposal Coordinator/Editor for a hybrid role in Herndon, VA, combining proposal coordination and editing. Lead planning, scheduling, and production for large, complex proposals while ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate branding.

Minimum 6 years in proposal coordination and editing, with government proposal experience and knowledge of GPO, AP, and Chicago style guides. Willing to work evenings/weekends and support onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in proposal coordination and editing.
• Experience with Government proposals and analysis of solicitation requirements.
• Proficiency with GPO, AP, and Chicago style guides.
• Familiarity with document management systems (Teams, SharePoint, Google Drive).
• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; willing to work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads proposal planning, scheduling, and logistics with minimal support.
• Reads and interprets complex RFPs and amendments to understand instructions and criteria.
• Edits proposals for grammar, punctuation, spelling, terminology, style, and messaging.
• Maintains version-control and manages Teams, SharePoint, and Box workspaces.
• Prepares proposal docs and slide decks; facilitates kickoff and standups.
• Oversees production and delivery activities for final submissions.
• Manages war room logistics and IT/security coordination.
