Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager in Reston, VA for the Proposal Development Center. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on managing complex federal proposals and collaborating with SMEs to craft compelling responses.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years experience in proposal leadership, a strong grasp of lifecycle processes, and the ability to drive compliant, winning content across written and oral deliverables with onsite and remote coordination in the DMV area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 13+ years of experience; additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing winning competitive Federal Government proposals
• Experience with proposal development lifecycles; Shipley or similar processes

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of proposal lifecycle activities: kickoff, schedules, compliance, tracking, and team guidance
• Develop and maintain artifacts: kickoff materials, compliance matrix, structure, schedules, and review briefings
• Provide structured methodology for both written and oral Federal Government proposals
• Facilitate team communication with stand-ups, updates, and role clarity
• Collaborate with executive leadership to allocate resources and meet deadlines
