Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Proposal/Technical Writer & Manager to join our Business Development team. The role involves drafting, editing, and coordinating responses to government solicitations, with roughly 75% focus on technical writing and compelling content.

The position is full-time with a hybrid schedule (remote 2–3 days a week, onsite in Annandale, VA). Candidates should have federal proposal experience and strong MS Office skills to support executive summaries, approaches,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent federal acquisition experience considered.
• Federal Government Contracting: 5 years (Required).
• 5-7 years of Federal Government proposal writing & responses (RFI/RFP).
• 3 years of Federal Government proposal management experience.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and related tasks.
• Develop executive summaries, technical approaches, staffing and transition plans.
• Research opportunities using SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, USAspending and related tools.
• Coordinate proposal schedules, compliance reviews, and production.
• Maintain SharePoint proposal repositories and reusable content.
• Coordinate with teaming partners and Government stakeholders.
• Support market research and business development outreach.
