Job summary

AttainX Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Proposal Manager to support the delivery of winning proposals for federal contracts. The role involves assisting with proposal writing and coordinating teams to meet deadlines, ensuring compliance with requirements and thorough follow-through.

Hybrid on-site work 2–3 days per week in Herndon, VA, with a focus on collaboration across engineers, PMs, and content providers to drive successful responses to RFPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years’ experience in government contract SERVICES proposal development.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate a diverse group of engineers, project managers, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the proposal process in response to commercial and U.S. government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
• Work with SMEs to assist with writing and editing assigned proposal sections.
• Create proposal timelines and support adherence to proposal schedules.
• Coordinate daily proposal management activities and develop work plans and schedules.
