Cognizant in Hartford, CT is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications that drive critical business initiatives. You will work with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to build modern digital solutions.

You will design and implement microservice-based architectures, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, while mentoring peers and aligning with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing and implementing Microservices-based architectures.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Expertise working with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular (versions 13-16).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, performance optimization, and secure coding.
• Experience in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services for scalability and security.
