Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer - Sales to design and deliver training that strengthens commercial capability and product knowledge. This role partners with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, and SMEs to close capability gaps and drive market success.

The position focuses on onboarding, product launches, and sales messaging, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring onsite presence and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of instructional design or sales training experience.
• Experience designing learning for adult learners in corporate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs and performance gaps with stakeholders.
• Design and develop role-based onboarding and product training for sales teams.
• Create instructional materials including objectives, storyboards, assessments, guides, and job aids.
• Develop learning across eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and scenario-based formats.
• Translate complex technical and commercial content into clear, learner-centered content.
• Support launch readiness with training plans, certification materials, and reinforcement tools.
• Manage LMS content and measure training effectiveness to improve outcomes.
