Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer, Sales & Product Training, to design, develop, implement, and improve learning solutions that strengthen commercial capability and product knowledge. This role partners with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, and SMEs to deliver targeted training and enablement solutions.

The position focuses on onboarding, product launches, messaging, and ongoing field development to enhance sales effectiveness and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, sales training, product training, enablement, curriculum development, or related Learning & Development work.
• Experience designing learning solutions for adult learners in corporate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs, performance gaps, and business goals.
• Analyze learner and business needs to design effective training solutions.
• Design and develop role-based learning for onboarding, product training, launches, and sales development.
• Create instructional materials including objectives, storyboards, assessments, guides, and job aids.
• Develop learning across eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and scenario-based formats.
• Translate complex content into clear, practical training materials.
• Support launch readiness with training plans, certification materials, and reinforcement tools.
• Manage LMS content and measure training effectiveness to drive improvements.
