Haskell Company is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our preconstruction team in Jacksonville, FL. You will provide accurate cost estimates, coordinate critical estimate reviews with directors and engineers, and assist in final bid closeout.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project leadership and design teams to ensure competitive and achievable bid strategies. Responsibilities span pre-estimate design reviews, bid strategy development, subcontractor coordination, and post-estimate

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, scheduling, budgeting and risk assessment.
• Ability to develop bid strategies and review final bid packages.
• Knowledge of design options, cost engineering, and constructability considerations.
• Experience coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Pre-Estimate: participate in design reviews, monitor scope and constructability.
• Estimate Development: establish bid strategies, develop estimates at various design levels, review project schedules.
• Subcontractor Management: obtain quotes, maintain relationships, ensure qualified subcontractors are considered.
• Post Estimate: assist with budgets, review scope, support change orders.
• Travel: approximate 10–25% travel as needed.
• Database Management: maintain estimating data and bid packages.
