Axon 911 seeks a Senior Embedded Engineer to develop embedded networking firmware for Linux- and Android-based platforms in a hybrid role based in Manhattan, NY. You will contribute to high-performance, mission-critical devices, collaborating across software and hardware teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience with Embedded Linux/Android and strong C/C++ and/or Rust skills, plus a track record in real-time, low-latency systems and networking protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building software for Embedded Linux or Embedded Android.
• Strong programming experience in C/C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience building and optimizing performance-sensitive or real-time systems where latency and reliability matter.
• Experience working with networking, connectivity, or communication protocols in production systems.
• Systems-level experience building software for resource-constrained or connected devices.
