Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Sr Demand Planner to join Global Logistics and Planning within the Global Supply Chain. You will perform short-term POS analysis and long-term category planning, contribute to Anaplan implementation, and help develop SOPs with cross-functional teams to improve service levels and drive results.

The role requires a strong background in demand planning, inventory management, and data analysis, plus experience presenting to diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 1–3 years of related experience
• Thorough understanding of inventory management
• Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting
• Strong data analysis and statistics skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience gathering and documenting process and tool requirements
• Strong communication skills for presentations and training

Responsibilities

• Analyze short-term POS performance and shipping trends
• Lead long-term category planning and forecasting
• Help implement Anaplan and develop SOPs
• Improve processes and SOPs across the team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply partners
• Present ideas clearly to executives and stakeholders
