Mattel, Inc. and Subsidiaries seeks a Lead Demand Planner for its Innovation Ventures to develop and maintain demand plans for ventures from early commercialization through launch and scale.

Build scenario-based forecasts from consumer testing, POS data, and shipment trends; translate these forecasts into inventory and supply requirements; partner with Ventures, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and external licensees to support launch decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ (or MBA with 3 years) of related experience.
• Thorough understanding of inventory management.
• Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting.
• Strong understanding in data analysis and statistics.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience gathering and documenting process and tool requirements.
• Comfortable moderating meetings, delivering oral presentations and training to large groups; strong communication skills to deliver business updates and influence decisions.
• Demonstrated growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

Responsabilidades

• Develop item, assortment, channel, and market demand plans using limited historical data.
• Translate route-to-market strategies into launch volumes and inventory positions.
• Monitor early demand signals and update forecasts quickly.
