Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Sr. Cloud BI Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Sigma/Tableau dashboards and reports for internal and external clients.

You will collaborate with business users and the Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions. You will mentor teams on best practices, ensure data security and compliance, and support Tableau administration and server upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• Certifications in Sigma/Tableau software required.
• Minimum 5+ years Tableau development, web APIs and administration experience.
• 1+ year Sigma Computing development experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze information requirements from business users and translate to use cases and design for Enterprise Reporting applications.
• Develop Sigma/Tableau dashboards, visualizations and reports for complex problems; use innovative approaches to meet business needs.
• Mentor business and Analytics teams on Sigma/Tableau best practices and support other developers.
• Ensure standards and best practices for Tableau/Sigma; ensure data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Enterprise Reporting team in Tableau administration, including user provisioning, server management, licensing, and upgrades.
• Perform other duties as needed.
