Job summary

NewGen Administrative Services is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Global/Shared Resources Accounting Team in Montebello, CA. This hybrid role requires ownership of balance sheet reconciliations across 60+ facilities and the design of automated Excel templates to keep the team efficient.

You will manage journal entries for revenue, payroll, accruals, amortization, and ROU, while turning messy data into clean, scalable templates in a high-volume environment. DOE applies.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–5 years of accounting experience with solid GAAP knowledge (accruals, journal entries, close process).
• Must be able to reconcile balance sheets across 30+ entities simultaneously; multi-entity experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills beyond pivot tables and XLOOKUP; write VBA macros and build Power Query flows.
• Turn messy data into clean, automated templates and thrive in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile high-volume accounts across 60+ facilities (bank, AR clearing, prepaids, payroll liabilities, intercompany).
• Own Global/Shared Resources journal entries: revenue, payroll, accruals, amortization, and ROU entries.
• Design and maintain reusable reconciliation templates, automate workflows, and standardize file structures across the team.
