NewGen Administrative Services in Montebello, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant to own facility financials and deliver accurate monthly statements to help communities thrive.

On-site/hybrid role with a salary range of $90,000–$105,000 per year. Requires 2–3 years as Senior Accountant (or 4–6 years as GL) and experience in managed care accounting. Strong Excel and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 2–3 years as Senior Accountant (or 4–6 years as GL Accountant) required.
• Experience in managed care accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills in Windows environment.
• Self-driven and able to manage workload independently.
• Nice to have: SNF environment experience.
• Nice to have: Great Plains ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements for assigned facilities.
• Own the full close cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial trends, propose adjustments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure invoice, payment, and accrual accuracy.
• Support audit, review, and tax engagements with clear documentation.
