Job summary

Sonos seeks a Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting and Innovation to drive AI-enabled automation across consolidations, technical accounting, and external reporting. You will shape scalable processes, build dashboards, and implement controls while partnering with IT, FP&A, Tax, and external auditors.

The role combines deep US GAAP expertise with hands-on scripting and AI tool experience to accelerate the close and improve accuracy in a hybrid Boston-area environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field is required.
• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with mix of public accounting and corporate industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-assisted and automated workflows across consolidations, close, and reconciliation review processes.
• Identify manual tasks and redesign them using AI tools, scripting, and financial systems integrations.
• Build scalable workpapers, dashboards, and validation checks to improve efficiency and review quality.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, and IT to ensure automated solutions are reliable and SOX-compliant.
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation tools and recommend practical applications for Corporate Accounting.
