Job summary

SonarSource is hiring a Corporate Accounting Manager to help build and scale our growing finance organization. This role goes beyond traditional close and reporting; you will design processes, strengthen controls, develop and implement AI tooling, and partner cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy as our operations grow in complexity.

Qualifications

• AI experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents.
• 7+ years of experience with Big 4 foundation, preferably in software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit readiness; proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate across teams, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across core balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives to strengthen reporting quality, efficiency, scalability, and controls.
• Identify and implement opportunities to use automation, technology, and AI-enabled solutions within management reporting processes.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members and liaise with stakeholders across the finance organization.
• Assist with ongoing audits and liaise with external auditors.
