Job summary

The American Heart Association seeks a School Engagement Associate to support the Development team in coordinating school communications, data entry, and fundraising activities. Local travel and hybrid work are expected, with residence in the Western States region preferred.

Responsibilities include email campaigns, scheduling meetings with schools, data entry in CRM systems, and providing customer service by phone and email. This temporary role runs from October 2026 through May 2027.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum prior relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel locally and work from home per policy.

Responsibilities

• School Communication Plan Management: coordinate school communication plans for two teams and ensure timely updates.
• Website Coordination: assist with password management, email permissions, and school webpages.
• Administrative Support: manage school contact info, labels, mail items, and provide email/phone support.
• Data Management: maintain Salesforce/CRM data, update notes, and research contacts.
• Fundraising Support: assist meetings, arrange school events, and prepare materials and resources.
