Job summary

The American Heart Association seeks a School Engagement Associate to support the Development team and participating schools in the Western States region. You will help with email campaigns, scheduling recruitment meetings, data entry, donation processing and customer service, both from home and in the field.

This temporary hybrid role requires local travel, strong Microsoft Office and CRM skills, and the ability to manage communications with schools and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel locally and access reliable transportation.
• Ability to work from home and in the field per policy.
• Strong communication and proactive work style.
• Data management across CRMs and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support School Communication Plans for two teams.
• Assist with website coordination, password management and permissions.
• Upload and maintain school contact information; handling mail items.
• Data management in MS Dynamics (CRM) and Blackbaud scheduling.
• Support fundraising with meeting prep, follow-up and materials.
