Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our hybrid team in California. The role blends scheduling clerk duties with production scheduling, supporting Cup, Lid, and Press calendars, and coordinating with Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Customer Service.

The position requires proven Excel proficiency and clerical experience; production scheduling experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using Excel.
• Clerical experience required (post secondary education can replace experience).
• Production scheduling experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote, encourage, and demonstrate good safety practices.
• Schedule and monitor production areas.
• Be aware of and respond to customer demand and changes.
• Schedule to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Maintain and utilize various reports and documents.
• Ensure proper inventory turnover as directed by management.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of PC programs (Excel, email, word processing).
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be flexible to learn other tasks within the department.
• Maintain good attendance and proactive problem-solving.
