Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks a Production Control Manager to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of materials, people and equipment to produce and deliver quality cartons on time, while maintaining inventory flow across the manufacturing operation.

As part of a large, global team, you will interact with Customer Service, Sales and plant leadership, lead Shipping/Receiving and Production Control staff, ensure GMP and SQF compliance, and drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years' experience within folding carton industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Control costs to meet annual budget requirements.
• Maintain and control plant finished goods and raw material inventories.
• Interact with Customer Service and Sales regarding incoming orders.
• Lead Shipping/Receiving and Production Control Administrative staff.
• Ensure production schedule meets customer shipment needs.
• Support Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs.
